Meet the Architek Design team.

With over 20 years' experience, Aron has a rare and highly developed skill set. His interest in wood started as a teenager, working for a designer furniture maker and in a sawmill. This led to a traditional wooden boat-building apprenticeship in Lyme Regis. After boat building for years, he moved into conservation joinery, furniture and cabinet making, before gaining a degree in 3D Design and Craft at the University of Brighton.

Aron has worked on a variety of large scale, high profile projects and events in the field of art, architectural fabrication and bespoke joinery. A master craftsman, he is proficient in modern fabrication techniques with roots in traditional methods and philosophy.

With a Masters degree in Systems Engineering from Loughborough University, Mike worked for Airbus as an aircraft structures design engineer where he developed skills in 3D CAD, 2D drafting, materials engineering, advanced fabrication techniques and project management.

After achieving Chartered Engineer status, Mike took a break from the aeronautical sector to pursue his passion for event production and started 'The Dance-Off' - an interactive events company - along with brother Jamie. Joining the team to launch Architek Design has allowed Mike to combine his love of making things with his engineering approach.

Having gained a Masters degree in Property Development and Planning, Remy worked in the sustainable building sector where he gained expertise in the construction industry whilst pursuing his passion for woodwork. He was then awarded an apprenticeship at the workshop of master craftsman James Gallagher, where he honed his skills, learning both traditional and modern techniques.

Remy combines this practical knowledge with a love of three dimensional design and craftsmanship, and his secret skill is chainsaw sculpting.

In 2015, Jamie completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Scenic Construction at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London. On this highly prestigious course, Jamie received professional training in bench carpentry and joinery, properties of construction materials, set building, metal working, rigging, computer aided design and project management. He has worked with professional directors and designers on the Academy's public productions, and has developed a strong network of industry contacts.

Before starting at RADA, Jamie gained a degree in 3D Design and Craft at the University of Brighton.
